pln 4

McCain in Colorado Friday by Karen Crummy. It was nice that presidential candidates are stopping in Colorado. I think of all the people that stop by not alot of people are in and out of Colorado so I really think that’s cool. What matters to Karen is that she wants to tell everybody in Colorado about the political roll it has and that we need to go out and support the people that we think should be running this country. I think that everyone should have to vote or support politics. She thinks you should go out and support someone and even if you don’t. At least she is trying to get everyone to vote.

pln nata village thing

In Nata village’s Contribution at Work, what matters is helping people. There is a woman that has Solar Kearatosis it’s a bad skin disease that attacks light skinned people and makes it very dangerous for them to be out in the sun. Like an albino. It is very hard for people with little to no money and no transportation to get medical help and that is why people need to help. It is always good to donate money to legitimate charities. That what matters in Nata village's Contribution at Work is helping.

did you know video

In the video Did You Know by Karl Fisch what matters is making sure students are prepared tolive in the 21st century. In the video, it explained that by the time children born in 2007 turnsix, a super computer's computation abilities will exceed the abilities of the human brain. Thevideo also says that in the future, a computer worth 1,000 dollars will exceed the capabilities ofthe entire human race. How will we learn in the 21st century? Ithink this video shows it very clearly, we will have to use the expanding technology aroundus to learn effectively. In these times, many things are changing. Technology is growing andgrowing fast. So in our learning environment today, we need to use those to develop our information. So it seems that the video points out very clearly what needs tohappen to expand our learning environment now.

the machines are using us

What mattered in The Machines Are Using Us, by Michael Wesch was to show people what computers are doing to people, also how we depend on them every day.First off the good things machines do for us is that it gives us a faster connection to people and information. Like e-mail, MySpace, face book, blogger, online dictionary’s and articles. The bad thing about machines is that the information that is put on by other people is not always correct so you could be given false information. Also computers are an organization tool for us. When we type it is aligned the way we want it to be, they store a lot of information; music, pictures, documents. That’s what Michael Wesch wanted us to know in The Machines Are Using Us.
