In the article “Former Colorado man apparently kills family and himself in Texas” by the Denver post. Investigators believe a former Colorado man fatally shot his wife and teenage daughter and then killed himself at the family's new home in Garland. The bodies of the Andrews family were discovered Tuesday morning by the management staff of their apartment. Garland police say fellow employees of the man who lived there were concerned when he didn't show up for work and had asked the management to check on him. Police found 46 year old Robert Andrews, his 46 year old wife and his 17 year old daughter and the family dog dead. Investigators say it appears that Andrews shot his family and then killed himself. Police say a pistol that may have been used in the slayings was recovered. A motive for the shootings was being sought. Friends say the family moved to Garland from Briargate, a town in north Colorado Springs. It was obvious that it was the father who killed his wife and kids. I think it was really sad that he decided to kill his whole family.
